presetDj is as new kind of MP3 DJ-Software running on Mac OS X 10.3 or later Quickstart: Open the application Drag MP3 or AAC files (.mp3, .m4a) into the tracks. Arrange the songs by moving them horizontally. Click inbetween the tracks to select the start-position. Hit the Playbutton (black) to start. While playing, drag and drop additional files into the tracks. Hit the Previewbutton (orange, Shortcut SPACE) to preview. Arranging: Hold the shift-key for dragging files between tracks. Hold the Command-key for dragging the selected file and all files to the right horizontally Hold the CTRL-key and click to exchange the selected file and all files to the right between tracks Click (Activate) a file and: Cut (Command-x), copy (Command-c), clear (Backspace) Find an empty space to paste (Command-v) Define a songs in-, and out-points (upper triangles) Define a songs fade-ins and fade-outs (lower triangles) Move files horizontally 1 pixel by hitting the arrow keys, move files horizontally 10 pixel by hitting the arrow keys plus shift. (At 400% – 1 pixel means 1/4 of a second) The buttons to the lower right: [|] jump to the Playslider’s position [|] jump to the Previewslider’s position [50%] zoom 1:4, 1:2, 1:1, 2:1, 4:1 Shortcuts: SPACE: preview Start/Stop + -: System Volume Command-drag: move the selected file and all files to the right horizontally ctrl-click: click to exchange the selected file and all files to the right between tracks ctrl-option-command-click: Emergency-Delete a playing file shift drag: drag files between tracks shift alt drag: duplicate files between tracks backspace: delete active file Additional features: Load and save playlists Open a folder full of mp3s (you can adjust transition time in the "Preferences" window). Files are labeled like Finder-labels Drag from iTunes (should work now) Added a "Drop Preview" Window for immediately preview. No Buttonclick necessary for previewing.
